NEW INFORMATION!
We will be following the State of Ohio orders and provide landscaping services under the new strict regulation and safety guidelines. (Which we agree with and are in favor of for the safety of everyone)
Lawn Maintenance, Fertilization, mulch, and planting, are now considered essential. However, we are going to continue practicing social distancing by having only 1 team member, per vehicle, per property address. This will cause delays in our spring operations and we may be limited to the amount of maintenance contracts we can service this season. Please be patient with us during this period because our workforce will be half it’s original size working individually.
We will communicate with our customers anytime we come on property. If clients would prefer for us not to be on property during this time we completely understand.
We found this article very helpful in our decision making process.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you still have unanswered questions.
FAQs (NEW & UPDATED FAQs ADDED)
NEW! Will you credit our seasonal landscaping contract if you cannot perform all services listed?
We would prefer to trade any missed services for new services or projects you would like completed, however we will credit any missed services on the final seasonal invoice if that is what you want.
UPDATED! Will our landscaping services be delayed or pushed back because of this shutdown?
With the new STAY AT HOME policy extending to May 1st, we will definitely have delays this season. We will work hard to minimize those delays and work diligently to meet all of our deadlines.
UPDATED! Will you continue to invoice us if we are under a current contract or going into a new 2020 landscaping contract?
We will continue to invoice our year round customers at the beginning of every month. Our landscape only contracts first invoice will go out mid-April. We will continue to operate with business as usual, but understand this is an unusual time. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your contracts, please contact us and we can work through your concerns together.
Are you open?
Yes, our office staff is working remotely. We are still able to take calls, reply to emails, generate estimates, and assist current customers. Our field staff is currently not operating, but we will be ready to go as soon as we are legally able. Please check our current business hours (listed below), as they may have changed to accommodate social distancing principles.
What are your current business hours?
Monday – Friday 10:00AM – 4:00PM
Anytime before or after you can leave a message and we will follow up with you in 1-2 business days.
Call or email us at info@mvpsnl.com for more information.
Are you able to do site visits even if we meet outside and maintain a social distance?
We can do site visits but will need to maintain 6ft social distance barrier.
Can I still send a check in the mail?
We are still getting our mail on a weekly basis at our office, however, we are making all payments available online as well as by phone. Taking care of these processes virtually is one way that our organization is actively fighting the spread of COVID-19 and helping keep our community safe.
Will this shutdown affect your ability to hire any temporary or H2B Program employees that you rely on for your operation?
We are fortunate enough that our team is local, US citizens. We will continue to keep job postings up and hire people who have been affected by this crisis. So NO, we are confident we can get the job done by maintaining our great team and working with people locally.
What actions will you be taking to keep and maintain safety after the “Stay at Home” order is lifted?
During this time of unprecedented change, we realize that you are working hard to protect yourself and your family. As an organization that cares deeply about the well-being of our customers, we will be implementing new policies and processes that conform to CDC guidelines in order to keep you and your loved ones safe. The following steps are some of the biggest changes we have made in response to COVID-19:
- We will continue to have person to person outdoor meetings maintaining a 6ft social distance from attendees.
- We will stay away from indoor board meetings and home visits until we are 100% confident the spread of this virus is no longer a threat..
- Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of equipment and commonly used surfaces, as well as strengthening cleaning efforts of at-risk areas upon return.
- Communicate the importance of proper hand-washing techniques and personal hygiene habits to our employees
- Advise employees who feel ill or show symptoms of COVID-19 to stay home from work
What about your staff?
Just like our customers, our staff is of the utmost importance. During the “Stay at Home” order, we are communicating with them daily on how important it is to stay indoors. MVP is a closely knit company that has worked through many challenges together. We see this as another challenge on a much bigger scale that we will overcome and be much stronger when it is behind us.
